Wind & Rose, LLC (“Wind & Rose”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Registered Independent Advisor based in New York. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of windandrose.com and to people who become clients of the firm.

When you complete the qualification form on the Contact page we collect: your name, email address, optional telephone number, and the answers you give to the qualification questions (capital under consideration, approximate net worth, professional background, decision makers, objective, and strategy preference).

We also collect a one-time, six-digit code that we email to verify your address before your enquiry reaches us. The code is short-lived and used solely for verification.

When you simply browse the site we do not collect personal information about you. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. The site uses minimal first-party logs (for example, server request logs) which may include your IP address and browser type for security and reliability.

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether our strategy is a good fit for your situation, and to keep a written record of how the relationship began. If you become a client, we use it as part of our ongoing duty to know you and to give suitable advice.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketing partners. We do not use it to train external machine-learning models.

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the firm responsibly: our email provider (to send and receive correspondence), our custodian and brokerage providers (only for clients, as required to open and operate accounts), and our regulators and auditors (where the law obliges us to disclose). Each of these providers is bound by confidentiality.

We will disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the firm, our clients, or others.

Enquiry data is kept for as long as it is reasonable to maintain a record of how we came to be in contact with you. Records that relate to the conduct of an advisory relationship are kept for the periods required by applicable financial regulations, typically several years after the relationship ends.

You can ask us to delete information that we are not legally required to retain. Email russ.gilfix@windandrose.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Information is stored on managed infrastructure with access limited to people inside the firm who need it. Communications with this website are encrypted in transit. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is completely immune to risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You may also ask us to stop using your information for any purpose that is not necessary to the relationship or to legal compliance.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law. We will honor those rights when they apply.

This site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for basic operation. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser controls let you block or delete cookies if you prefer.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change we will refresh the effective date below and, where appropriate, notify clients directly.
